Some ideas of what to do in and around Exmouth:

  • Mountain Biking – check out Cape Range Riders Exmouth on Facebook. They now have a trail that goes over the ranges from Exmouth to Yardie Homestead (+-21km). It can also be done as a hike.
  • Drive / mountain bike Charles Knife Canyons and Shothole canyons.
  • Visit a few pubs such as Whalebone Brewery Co and Froth Craft Brewery.
  • Don’t miss the smoked ribs and brisket at The Bbq Father and Cadillacs Bar and Grill.
  • The best snorkling as at Turquoise Bay, Lakeside  and Oyster Stacks (last two at high tide only).
  • Nice beaches at Mildura wreck, Bundegi and Sandy Bay
  • Hike Mandu Mandu gorge and Yardie creek (try to hire a kayak for Yardie because the water is clear and there is lots to see)
  • Sundowners at the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse
